A whole lotta Santas going on at the Toronto Botanical Garden shop
True story. I arranged to meet a client at the Toronto Botanical Garden last week. After our meeting, I pointed out the shop. “I’ll just look in for a minute,” she said. Half an hour later, she walked out with gifts for a number of hard-to-shop-for people on her list. “They’ll love these,” she grinned. That’s the kind of store it is, if you love gardens, flowers, nature, or someone who loves any or all of the above.
The shop at the Toronto Botanical Garden is a bit of a best-kept secret. Luckily, tomorrow, December 5, 2013, the secret is shared at the TBG’s Holiday Open House. The shop will be open, and lots of extras added, including, of course, the weekly indoor farmer’s market. Plus, greenery for your holiday decorations. And then there’s a lecture and demonstration to tell you cool ways to use them.
I’ll be there, with Sarah, taking notes. And maybe taking home some prezzies. Lips sealed.
Owl be seeing you… maybe under the Christmas tree?
These felt cones, acorns and mushrooms are pretty cute.
The TBG has a big selection of Amaryllis bulbs – some ready to enjoy right now.
It isn’t all red and green. This silver and crystal table is elegant, isn’t it? Glad to see the TBG stocking some books again, too.
